We’re currently carrying out a survey to better understand the current best practices and attitudes to sharing & privacy in a social context by parents. While many parents routinely post information about their children on social networking sites, changes in data protection, privacy, and consent laws have created new opportunities for individual empowerment over their personal data, while technological advances have also created new risks that must also be considered. As such, we need your help to better understand how you view privacy and the ways in which it is influenced.
A few general notes about the survey itself:
- All questions are optional, so you can feel free to provide as much or as little information as you would like.
- All information is provided anonymously by default.
- Results will be published by the end of July, 2017.
If you have any questions or concerns about this, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. Furthermore, as we are interested in getting the widest range of participation, we would also appreciate if you could forward this to others who would be interested in expressing their views on this topic.
