Budapest, November 9-10th, 2017
The ICT Proposers’ Day is the largest networking event for those interested in participating in Horizon 2020 call topics related to the ICT work programme, and presents an unrivaled opportunity to make new connections and form collaborations. With around 1000 participants gathered in Hungexpo, Budapest’s largest exhibition hall, this year’s event was set to be a big one.
Things kicked off the night before with a social at the Bálna, an iconic venue located riverside of the Danube. The Hungarian MEP Tamás Deutsch and European Commission Vice President Andrus Ansip gave welcome speeches and the networking proceeded to the smooth sounds of live jazz and offerings of unique Hungarian foods such as spiced catfish.
During the two days that followed, Adaptant team members promoted the company and its project ideas through three presentations and almost 50 Face2Face meetings. The hot topics for Adaptant this year were in emerging data marketplaces/European Digital Single Market, ensuring private data exchange in IoT, Edge/Fog computing and SmartCities contexts and data blending (personal + industry data) innovations in the transport, health and agricultural industries.
