This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Adaptant Solutions AG and its affiliated companies and subsidiaries (collectively “Adaptant”) collect, manage, use, retain, and share information collected from users of Adaptant’s website, (the “Website”). This Privacy Policy further applies to all Products and Services offered by Adaptant, unless otherwise indicated.

Information we Collect

Contact Information

When you request more information the manner contact us (e.g. through a contact form on our Website), we may collect personal data such as your name, title, company name, job function, address, telephone number, email address, and other data that you voluntarily provide to us.

Customer Contact and Billing Information

When customers establish services, we may collect, process, and use personal data such as name and address,company name and details, work contact information, financial, payment, and billing information, and other personal data and information that the customer voluntarily provides to us, such as when a customer contact completes a form or calls or submits an email to us. We process this data through trusted third-party service providers, including billing and credit card processing providers.

Job Applicant Information

When you submit a Job application through the career portal on our Website, we collect Personal Data such as your name, address, telephone number, email address, a CV, a cover letter, and similar data.

Other Information

We may collect information from other sources, such as public databases or social media platforms, in order to enhance our ability to provide relevant marketing, offers, and content to you. The information we collect this way is from publicly accessible sources, such as business details and business contact information (e.g. your name, business email, address, and phone number, and job title), and social media handles.

Personal Data of Children

This Website is intended for adults and businesses only – we do not knowingly collect the data of anyone under 16 years of age. Though we do not collect the date of birth anywhere on this Website, if we learn that we have inadvertently collected the personal data of an individual under the age of 16, it will be promptly removed, and any services provided to the individual discontinued. Contact Forms

General Contact Form

For enquiries originating from our primary contact form (, your name and email are collected, with your company name and position being optionally provided. This information is forwarded to a group inbox for one of our representatives to manually review and decide on any follow-up action. The method in which data is processed and handled varies depending on the purpose of contact. Some examples include:

  • Data subject access request for a client we provide representation for – processed and forwarded directly (where we are an Art. 27 Representative), processed by us directly in accordance with a Data Processing Agreement where we act as the DPO.
  • Enquiries about our products or services – are entered into our CRM system and followed up on by the team responsible.
  • Research proposals or expressions of interest in collaborative research – Business contact information is transmitted to our research team for follow-up. This information may be retained for re-establishing contact for future collaboration opportunities.

Partner Programme Application

In the case of an application to join our Partner Programme, we collect your primary business contact information, including your name, email, company, position, country, and phone number. The information you provide is used solely for reviewing and assessing the suitability of your application for entering into a formal Partnership with Adaptant, and for communicating with you throughout the Partnering process (outlined at In the case where a formal Partnership is not concluded, a minimized set of data (including the company name and type of partnership sought) is retained, while all other information is promptly deleted.

Managing Job Applicants

The information you provide is used solely for reviewing and assessing the suitability of your job application for the desired position, and for communicating with you throughout the hiring process. All information submitted is promptly deleted within 6 months.

While we do maintain a separate distribution mailing list for alerting interested individuals to new job openings and opportunities at Adaptant, individuals must sign up for this explicitly on their own as linked from the careers portal ( – you will never be automatically added to any of our mailings.

We may further derive statistical data from your application for the purpose of quantitative data analyses (e.g.tracking the number of applicants for a specific job), which we will use beyond the point of erasure, no personal data will be included or retained.

When do we share your information?

Any sharing or disclosure of personal data occurs only in a number of limited circumstances:

Transfer to other Adaptant Group Companies

We may share personal data with other Adaptant Group companies (including our parent companies, subsidiaries, and affiliated companies) for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy.

Transfer to Third-Party Cloud Service Providers

Adaptant uses a number of Cloud service providers with which we may share your information. These include, but are not limited to, payment processing providers (e.g. Stripe), website analytics providers (e.g. Google Analytics), helpdesk software providers (e.g. ZenDesk), CRM service providers (e.g. Insightly), marketing service providers (e.g. Mailchimp), and others.

Processor DPAs and Third-Party Data Controllers

Adaptant has executed DPAs with each of its service providers, which in general are considered as Data Processors acting under Adaptant’s direction as Data Controller. Certain limited exceptions, however, may apply – the payment processor, for example, may, for the limited purpose of verifying identity, obtain additional information and act as a Data Controller in its own right. Where this is the case, Adaptant will assist you in the preparation of any additional data subject access requests that may be necessitated.

Responding to Law Enforcement Requests

In extraordinary cases, we may be legally obligated to disclose your information to public authorities, as in the case of responding to lawful requests from law enforcement agencies.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be modified at any time at Adaptant’s sole discretion. In the event of any substantial material changes that impact the way we collect, process, or disclose your personal data, we will bring prominent attention to these changes on our Website, as well as through our Newsletter and various social media channels.

In the event where a material change would have an impact on the data we have already collected from you (e.g. as part of a pre-existing relationship), we will notify you directly via email and seek your explicit consent for any proposed change.
